How do i email a link of a song?
Im trying to email a link of a song to my friend and im not sure how, can i got the song from limewire and i need help. How would i email the whole song or just a link??? any help on this would be very much appreciated.

not related to your question sort of. I'm the guy who that mix originated from. I have now seen the lyrics and know the song but can't remember at the mo. I think if I had a clip of it I could definatley tell you.
The way to post a link is to copy a piece of the track or just take the whole mix. Put it in an easy to find place like your desktop and then visit megaupload.com. Upload the clip or preferably the whole mix and use my email that you have I believe as the recipient field. also put your email in the box that says your email. then email me with the link you are sent and I will be able to download it and give you a complete tracklisting. The mix was made around 5-6 years ago I think so I'm gonna have to go through my record box but that's cool! if it's you who emailed me already to find out then hey! we're onto a winner! look forward to hearin from ya soon.

Sometimes when I do, it will actually go to e-mail, but does not put a "link" in the body of the email. I have tried on different computers, but it is the same on all of them on yahoo! It started doing this about one week ago.

Any other links on the email often just give you the same page, because they are phony links. You can see what the link's URL is by right clicking on it, then click Properties. Sometimes clicking on a link will just give you your Yahoo page.

Yahoo is still having some problems at the moment. Suggested cures range from Update Adobe Flash Player and Javascript to clear IE7 cache, cookies, and browsing history. Different things seem to work for different people. It's causing attachments to not show, 999 errors where it won't let you do a particular action and some people cannot send recieve delete or move mail. It's not just Vista either it's happening to some of us on XP. I have been advised to use this site to view my mail, www.mail2web.com if all else fails go back to classic mail via this link. http://us.mg1.mail.yahoo.com/dc/optout?s... click yes when asked do you want to opt out. Hope this helps.

Two affirmations to start: 1) Do not reformat or use system restore to start from new as it is too harsh and you should do it only as a last resort.
2) Do not copy your documents elsewhere as this will only spread the Malware and do NOT use your Email until this is cleaned.
Now for the main part: If you already opened it Malware may already be in your system, deeply rooting itself (some even hide in your router's firmware). Virus scanners and the Restore Point Utility are not good things to use against such invasion for this reason alone.
Get the programs I listed from another computer (Internet Caf茅, Public Library or friend's computer) onto a USB stick as Malware blocks you from downloading protection. A word of caution, be sure to read all programs help files completely before using them. If you still cannot use MBAM, rename it Alteregobytes to confuse the Malware (but be sure to keep the .exe extension on it) and use it as alternative for part A of the following solution.
TRYING MBAM ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH AS YOU NEED A COMPLETE SOLUTION, here is one (use programs in the order stated):
A) Download MBAM (MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware): http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Ant... - Install the application and make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish ( If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version ).
Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan ( The scan may take some time,so please be patient ). When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results. Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected ( When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart ).
B) Try the tricks and free programs I use: 1) Clean browsers junk.
Method One (now): In Internet Explorer (IE), click the Tools menu, then Delete Browsing History and in the box, click the Delete all button (bottom left) and Yes.
In Firefox (FF), go to tools, clear private data, make sure all boxes are checked and then click on the clear private data now button.
Method Two (Normal use: Every 14 days - Heavy use: Every 7 days): In IE, click the Tools menu, Delete Browsing History and in the box that opens, do these: a) click the button near Temporary Internet Files, click Yes and wait for the box that opens to close.
b) click the button near History, click Yes and wait for the box that opens to close and finally, click the close button (bottom right) to finish.
In FF, Go to tools, clear private data and uncheck all except Browsing History, Cache and Authenticated Sessions boxes then click on the clear private data now button.
Note: Close browser when done to clear cookies still in memory. For other browsers or versions of the programs, check help files for guidance on doing cleanup.
2) Turn off the restore point utility ( Guide for XP: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310405 and Vista: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows... )
3) Use this free cleaner: http://www.glaryutilities.com/gu.html to remove junk and remnants files.
4) Use a "Disk defragmenter".
5) Turn restore point utility back on. (see part 2)
6) Do not use toolbars (spyware).

Two affirmations to start: 1) Do not reformat or use system restore to start from new as it is too harsh and you should do it only as a last resort.
2) Do not copy your documents elsewhere as this will only spread the Malware and do NOT use your Email until this is cleaned.
Now for the main part: If you already opened it Malware may already be in your system, deeply rooting itself (some even hide in your router's firmware). Virus scanners and the Restore Point Utility are not good things to use against such invasion for this reason alone.
Get the programs I listed from another computer (Internet Caf茅, Public Library or friend's computer) onto a USB stick as Malware blocks you from downloading protection. A word of caution, be sure to read all programs help files completely before using them. If you still cannot use MBAM, rename it Alteregobytes to confuse the Malware (but be sure to keep the .exe extension on it) and use it as alternative for part A of the following solution.
TRYING MBAM ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH AS YOU NEED A COMPLETE SOLUTION, here is one (use programs in the order stated):
A) Download MBAM (MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware): http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Ant... - Install the application and make sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish ( If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version ).
Once the program has loaded, select "Perform Quick Scan", then click Scan ( The scan may take some time,so please be patient ). When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results. Make sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected ( When disinfection is completed, a log will open in Notepad and you may be prompted to Restart ).
B) Try the tricks and free programs I use: 1) Clean browsers junk.
Method One (now): In Internet Explorer (IE), click the Tools menu, then Delete Browsing History and in the box, click the Delete all button (bottom left) and Yes.
In Firefox (FF), go to tools, clear private data, make sure all boxes are checked and then click on the clear private data now button.
Method Two (Normal use: Every 14 days - Heavy use: Every 7 days): In IE, click the Tools menu, Delete Browsing History and in the box that opens, do these: a) click the button near Temporary Internet Files, click Yes and wait for the box that opens to close.
b) click the button near History, click Yes and wait for the box that opens to close and finally, click the close button (bottom right) to finish.
In FF, Go to tools, clear private data and uncheck all except Browsing History, Cache and Authenticated Sessions boxes then click on the clear private data now button.
Note: Close browser when done to clear cookies still in memory. For other browsers or versions of the programs, check help files for guidance on doing cleanup.
2) Turn off the restore point utility ( Guide for XP: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310405 and Vista: http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/Windows... )
3) Use this free cleaner: http://www.glaryutilities.com/gu.html to remove junk and remnants files.
4) Use a "Disk defragmenter".

For the past few weeks, I have been having quite a bit of nausea at all different times in the day. I have also been getting pains in my stomach, and lower back as well as my breast are quite tender some days. I have been really tired and wore out lately no matter how little or how much I sleep. I even had to have a nap after I got home from work the other day. Something else that I've noticed is that some days I have to force myself to eat but other days I just can't stop eating. I am always snacking on crackers at work. It was either crackers or chocolate bars and I thought cracker would be healthier. I have been trying to figure out if maybe something out of the ordinary in my life may cause these symptoms but the only thing that really seems to be out of the ordinary with my life right now is the fact that my last period (finnished about 4 days ago) was a lot lighter and shorter than usual. Could anyone please help me to figure out what could be going on?

If there is really no possibility of a pregnancy, then you need to see a doctor to rule out any other conditions that may mimic pregnancy symptoms.

The moment you enter at the end of a hyperlink it will be linked to the URL.
Incase you want to use it in HTML it should be coded as below

At work, we used the microsoft mail product, and my email links, in the mail I received, were always dead. I asked IT about this, and they showed me how to change the preferences to make all links i recieve live. So it all depends on what the person getting your email has their settings at.

Problem with "mail " mac software and "send email" link in website?
i dont have ''my own" email address such as used in eudora, entourage, mail etc.
the problem is when I click the "send email" link in websites, the "mail" software is open and shoq the step by step to make email address in "mail" software.

Can you send paying customers an email link that nobody else can connect to?
I'm thinking of doing an e-book that people can pay for through paypal. After paying, I will go into paypal and manually check to see if they actually paid and didn't cancel payment or e-check. After that they will be sent to a thank you page and a notice will be sent to wait for my e-mail within 24 hours with a link to my page. (This page can either be an actual page or a download I haven't created it yet). Is there a way I can send a link in their email that only they can open? So If they forward the email or post it on a forum somewhere everyone can't access the page/download. I've heard of a "nofollow" script. Does this work?

How do i place an html link in an email?
Depends upon the software you use. Some programs its easy. just type in the address, being sure its all lower case letters and also make sure there is a space before and after the address. Some e-mail software will automatically highlight this address upon completion of giving the address. Some, you will have to save or send the message and at that point it will convert to a link. I have even used software that won't do any of that. The receiver could highlight the address link, upon receiving the message, Then use the "cut" and "paste" features to place the address into the address bar of their browser.

Hi, this used to work fine before. But all of a sudden it stopped......%26gt; I would be logged into my yahoo email. On another window, I would be browsing the net and would click on an email link. Well, it used to be that as soon as I click on the random email link, that it would automatically open a new page in my yahoo email and automatically go to the 'compose' page. there, the email address was already placed in the "to" box. NOW, when I click on an email address, it opens a new page in my yahoo mail but nothing has been added automatically like efore. I have to type everything manually. what can i do to get this to go back to the way i used to have it? PS when i sign in to yahoo, i have the box checked that says,'keep me signed in for 2 weeks'.

I just pasted your code into one of my applications and it worked for me. I just sent you an email, check and see if you got it.. (from Wenchie).
I don't know what code is before the code you pasted here, but make sure that section tag should be there, meaning you have an open %26lt;section%26gt; tag. You have an extra font color link in there, one before the %26lt;a%26gt; tag and one after. You can remove one of those since you only have one closing %26lt;/font%26gt; tag that I can see. Also you can remove the target="_blank" from your email link. You don't need that in a mailto: link.
Let me know if you didn't get the email and we can look deeper. Perhaps it's just not working for you. Do email links normally open up okay for you?

1) Put your email address text inside an image file. Yes, it's less convenient to the visitors, but it will foil the spam-gathering robots.
2) Use a well-designed contact form on your website and have people email you that way instead. Note that I said well-designed... if precautions aren't taken, spammers can still use the form... and worse, they can send spam to others and make it look like it came FROM you.
3) Keep your email in the form as planned, but put spam-battling software in place on your email account. Something like SpamAssassin or MailWasher.

When i press on the link button to retrieve my email nothing happens why
I assume that you went to www.yahoo.com (or your country's site) and you clicked on the Mail button under the Hello Elete10. If you are actually hooked to the internet this should take you to your mail. You may have to double click. If not, did this work yesterday but not today? Perhaps there is a server down in your area. If that is the case it should be fixed quickly.

Sure, all web sites set cookies... that's no big deal.
If you clicked a link that took you to a web site, you got their cookie, that's all.

It use to be a feature on my old PC when a link from an email needed to be scanned all i had to do was right click on the link and choose option "scan email/link for viruses . What's the deal now, do they get scan automatically ?

It also has a shell extension that allows you to right click any file or folder on your computer and scan it.

Email link? When I click on an email address on a site page, my screen switches to a gmail screen ?
with the new address in the "Send to" box/line. I have gmail, but the screen that shows up is different than my usual gmail screen. I write a message, hit send, it sends, says it's sent. Then when I go to my regular gmail (using Mozilla Thunderbird) , I have received the mail, addressed to me. I've done this 3 times and made sure the address box was filled correctly, NOT to me. I'm quite puzzled. (It was sent to faceless large entities, so I can't call and ask if they've received it.) Also, on the odd gmail page, I've saved the draft, but the drafts don't show on my regular page. Both definitely gmail, not my Yahoo email. Started from a Google homepage. Using Vista 7.0. New to computers and email (6 months). Thanks.

Why do people ask questions when stating their opinion and yet not leave an email link to reply?
So many times i want to answer religious question, and share my opinion with people who ask honest questions, but then i click on their name and there is no email? it is frustrating.
Good etiquette, is to send one email and then receive ONE reply. Atfter that, email replies in Q%26amp;A gets a little contentious. So lets be safe with just answering a question from a question and post more questions where it is concerned on the R%26amp;S section.

In Windows, generally if you double click on a file that does not have an associated application, a window will appear that will ask you to select the program from a list. You can do it this way as well.

My dad sent me a reply email and at the end of the email was a link to some Campaign 09 webpage. I asked, and he said he never sent the link. Where did it come from? Is his email account corrupted and if so how can i tell or fix the account?

Why do pictures embedded in earth-link email show up as blank box with tiny colored box in upper left corner?
it sounds like you are not getting the image and there is a html %26lt;img%26gt; tag in the email. Basically, the file isnt being sent, but the email message has a 'spot' for it anyway

When I see a good answer in R%26amp;S (mostly) or Philosophy or Science (some interest there also) I try to see in their Profile their other Q %26amp; A to see if I want them as a Contact. -- kindred-soul or kindred -mind etc. Sadly, about 1/2 of the time they have no Email Link and about 1/4 ? of the time no Q %26amp; A showing. I can understand some sick people hiding, but why are others -- (possibly) very good persons -- hiding?
Real threats or paranoid or what? Please share. Thanks !

How do I copy a link from an email?
I use different email programs, how do I copy a link from an email? Or copy a link and put it into an email in general? Is there a univeral icon that will make it copy on a toolbar?? I'm getting used to this new program after being away from a PC for 2 years!

It's real easy. To copy, just highlight the link, then right click, then click Copy. From this point, you can insert it into another email by right clicking again, then click Paste.
To refresh, you highlight a link by clicking on it, it will highlight in blue. Or, if you want to highlight words, just click and drag your curser on the words.
