My dad sent me a reply email and at the end of the email was a link to some Campaign 09 webpage. I asked, and he said he never sent the link. Where did it come from? Is his email account corrupted and if so how can i tell or fix the account?

Literally, it could be anything. It could be a virus, and if it was it's not your dad's fault for sending it to you...
On the other hand, it could be completely harmless.
Reply:there are some campaign links that are virus links. I read about some the other day on the microsoft watch list. I don't know how you would fix your account but I would definitely run some anti virus scans on your pc.
