When I type an email address into the body of an email, how can I keep it from turning into a link?

Sometimes when I type an email address into the body of an email, I want it to remain plain text, but Yahoo always turns it into a link. How can I stop this?

instead of typing ".com", type "dot com"
Reply:Apparently you didn't understand my question. When I type an EMAIL address into a Yahoo email, it turns it into a link. Email addresses don't end with .com! Report Abuse

Reply:You can't do anything about it. It is just a link that is a way you can email them. If they click on the link, the compose page would be there. Sorry...
