Are you talking about using your Yahoo address in Apple's Mail program?
If so, you can't. you cna only use email addresses with POP3 or IMAP access, and Yahoo's free service doesn't cover those services: you have to pay for Yahoo Plus service to get those.
Gmail is the best free email service to use with Mail on a Mac. They offer both POP3 and IMAP access and you get a ton of storage space.
